Initially, I was going to buy a rack making machine, but after researching and practicing, I found that making bean sprouts at home with a plastic basket is bigger and fatter than made by machine. Very easy to make, moms make it to eat gradually!
Bean sprouts can be cooked into many delicious dishes such as stir-fried bean sprouts, soup, even raw. How to make bean sprouts at home with plastic baskets is both convenient and hygienic to make family meals more secure.
Materials to prepare:
200g green beans (select only those that are not rotten, dried)
Cotton towels are large enough or old shirts are not used
Plastic baskets, porcelain plates, and plastic pots of the same size as the basket
Step 1: Soak green beans in cold water overnight for 6-8 hours
Step 2: Then, place the basket on top of the plastic pot (adjust so that the bottom of the basket is about 1cm from the bottom of the pot so that the bean sprouts do not get waterlogged).
Step 3: Line a cotton towel down around the plastic basket.
Step 4: Spread the beans evenly on the bottom of the plastic basket and then spread the rest of the cotton towel on top to make it tight.
Step 5: You take about 2/3 of a bowl of water to eat rice and then sprinkle it evenly on a cotton towel to create moisture.
Step 6: Place the ceramic plate on top of the towel and place the bean sprouts pot in a cool place, away from the sun.
Note: Every day, you lift the basket of bean sprouts and pour the water on the bottom of the pot. Next, lift the porcelain plate and continue to water around 1 day 2 times in the morning and at night. After about 2.5 or 3 days, we can harvest the bean sprouts.
Step 7: Harvest bean sprouts after 2-3 days. Use scissors to pull all layers of roots out of the towel for easy harvesting and cleaning, preparing for a new batch of incubation.
The advantage of this method is that you can use cotton towels to make many times, the bean sprouts are clean.
